Road Bike Prowess with Gravel Skills

Why We Love It
ALLIED Cycle Works is one of the very few U.S. made carbon frame manufacturers. From the point an idea pops into their engineers head to the finished product being shipped to you, it all happens in the cycling mecca of NorthWest Arkansas. The ALFA ALLROAD was ALLIED's first stab at a versatile high performance road bike with tire clearance up to 35mm. The bike is called the ALFA ALLROAD because the changes from their dedicated ALFA road bike and the ALLROAD are minimal -a slightly heavier and wider clearance fork and a 10mm longer chainstay to accommodate the bigger tires. That's it! For a very small and likely intangible weight penalty you're able to turn your tarmac triumph into a capable gravel grinder.
Upgrades
  • 4iiii Power Meter
Master Mechanic’s Notes
  • New Maxxis Re-Fuse tires
  • New rear brake pads
  • New handlebar tape
  • The non-drive side chainstay was professionally repaired by Broken Carbon in Boulder, CO, and that repair comes with their 5-year limited warranty
  • Moderate paint chips on the inside of the dropouts
  • Moderate scratches on the top tube, down tube, head tube, chainstays, & seatstays
  • Small paint chips on the seat tube
  • Small scratches across the frame, rims, cranks, derailleur, & seatpost
  • Please note: power meters are typically aftermarket upgrades, and we cannot guarantee battery life, accuracy, or calibration
