Why We Love It
Hailing from Idaho, the Stargazer is the second bike from Tumbleweed. It's a sleek, steel-framed, drop bar adventure bike that allows some serious tire width. If your adventures take you into the unknown, this bike handles up to 29" x 2.5" or 27.5" x 3.0" tire. To add to the durability and handling of this wild ride, the geometry leans heavily into down country MTB territory. A 69° headtube and 72.5° seattube will set you in an all-day joyride posture and the 27.2mm seat tube is happy to accept a dropper if that's your style. As usual, we love the threaded bottom bracket for its durability, lack of creaks and ease of maintenance. Could the Stargazer have some fun in a gravel race? Sure. However, this rowdy gravel rig is much more tuned for the adventurous spirit; the rider looking to explore, sightsee and not be in too much of a rush.
