A Nod to the Classics

Why We Love It
A few miles up the road from The Pro’s Closet headquarters in Louisville, Colorado, flanked by the iconic Flatirons, founder Aaron Barcheck and a group of master frame builders at Mosaic Cycles create bespoke, handcrafted works of art for riders seeking the perfect balance of form and function.
/n
/n
As longtime devotees of Aaron and Mosaic’s passionate design and small-batch build process, we’ve been looking for a chance to collaborate with these Boulder-based titanium and steel architects to craft something totally unique to the market – and the opportunity finally presented itself. In addition, we brought TPC founder, Nick Martin, and The Radavist founder, John Watson, along for this once-in-a-lifetime ride.
/n
/n
The results of this creative and design alliance are the stunning TPC x Mosaic GT-2 45, GT-2 45 Di2 and GT-2 X. Conceived and built as limited-editions exclusive to TPC, once these bikes are sold, no others will be made. From the ground up, they’re like nothing else on the trail.

The first thing that catches the eye is the subtly exceptional paint scheme in either Desert Tan or Nebula Green. Inspired by Nick and John’s love of classic Toyota Land Cruisers, the paint replicates the colors made famous by those iconic 1970’s 4x4’s.
/n
/n
True to his Radavist persona, John approached the build for the GT-2 X like a blank canvas with a focus on customization and a premium on performance. Harkening back to the geometry and specs of 1990’s XC mountain bikes, the titanium GT-2 X is an all-around adventure rig and veritable quiver killer. Featuring a handmade steel fork, extra-wide titanium bars, a workhorse Shimano XT drivetrain and massive tires, the GT-2 X may be inspired by vintage bikes, but it rides like a modern masterpiece. And with only eight produced, you won’t see many of these timeless builds out in the wild.
/n
/n
The TPC x Mosaic GT-2 45, GT-2 45 Di2 and GT-2 X fuse enduring aesthetics, modern efficiency and the comfort of titanium in a gravel bike that’s more than capable of tackling any route – and turning heads.
/n
/n
Go inside the build and see how these incredible bikes were conceived, created and ridden. And, watch a conversation
with TPC founder, Nick Martin, and Mosaic founder, Aaron Barcheck, as they discuss the bikes, Mosaic’s beginnings and the ties that bind these industry leaders.
/n
/n
And if you’re ready to ride a rare build that can hold its own on the trail, find your TPC x Mosaic collaboration model and start planning your next adventure.
