Why We Love It
After a few years of success designing track bikes, Standert decided it was time to branch out with a road bike, and thus, the Triebwerk was born. As you'd expect from bike racers (especially track racers), the Triebwerk was built to perform. Aggressive geometry and a stiff frame gave riders every advantage possible.

The Triebwerk is still a staple in the brands lineup today. And while it still boasts classic lines and timeless good looks, later models receive welcomed modern touches like disc brakes, wider tire clearance and a geometry that's slightly more forgiving than the original model that seems to have pulled inspiration from track designs. Together, the supple steel frame, slightly tweaked race geometry and wider tire clearance deliver a high performance road bike that's comfortable for long days in the saddle.
