Why We Love It
The Salsa Deadwood Carbon is a fun and unique mix of spec that serves up a mountain bike that pedals quick and efficient. The Deadwood's geometry is slightly more forgiving than an xc-racer, which is mostly an effect from the 120mm fork tipping the head tube back. To add to the fun, Salsa designed the Deadwood around 29 x 2.6-3.0" tires that grip the corners and monster truck their way up climbs.
