Why We Love It
With any attempt of abiding by UCI rules thrown out the window, the Andean is a thorough-bred Triathlon bike through and through. Every inch of this bike is designed with the goal of getting you from the swim to the run as fast as possible. Looking at the bike, it's obvious there's a lot of extra carbon. This doesn't lend to the lightest bike on the triathlon circuit, but since most triathlons don't have massive climbs and don't often involve speedy accelerations, the weight is quickly offset by the impressive aerodynamics and bold storage options. Bonus: Diamondback made the Andean compatible with many common stem, base bar, and aero bar setups. This means, you can choose your favorite setup and feel as comfortable as possible on your race rig - since we all know, speed on the bike doesn't mean much if you're too tight to run afterwards!
