A Cross Country Racer Ahead of Its Time

Why We Love It
Yeti was one of the earlier adopters of the "progressive geometry" trend. What is progressive geometry? It typically involves a longer front end, shorter back end, a slacker head tube, steeper seat tube and a lower bottom bracket compared to prior numbers in that category. The idea is giving you a bike that performs better at its given discipline, but is able to span its wings into other categories as well. The Yeti ASRc does just that by taking an ultra-light and incredibly fast 100mm rear travel cross country racing bike and designing it around a 120mm fork and more trail capable geometry than almost any other bike in its class at the time. With the Yeti ASRc, you'll be at the front of the pack already, but when the technical sections come along, the competition won't stand a chance.
