TPC Staff E-Bikes
Every week it seems another e-bike is parked in our TPC staff bike area.
Find out what a few of us are riding and why.

Orbea Rise
"The Rise has allowed me to ride twice as many miles in a shorter amount of time. Multiple laps after work? No problem. Long rides on the weekend? Also no problem. The super light Shimano motor keeps the bike right around 41lbs, so it feels very much like an analog bike on the descents, which is exactly what I was looking for with my first e-bike."

Benno Boost E 10D Class 3
"The Benno Boost is the key to living car-free in comfort! From townie trips to daily commutes to winding bike trails, this bike has become an essential for me. Benno marries utility and design perfectly with a setup that is versatile to meet any rider’s needs. Rack it up, bag it out, or bring a buddy with you to ride longer and further. Most Notable Hauls: My Partner, a 60+ lb grocery run, a case of wine + many more"

Benno eScout 10D Class 3
"etility" bikes have fascinated me for a while, and in my opinion are one of the best use cases for electric bikes. Whether it's commuting, running errands around town, carrying bulky objects or kids, having an electric assist can make or break the decision to hop on the bike or use the car. I don't need to carry lots of heavy things but wanted something with a little utility so the Benno eScout stood out to me. With a front basket and panniers I can commute to work, go to the grocery store, pick up dinner and more. It's also a Class 3, topping out at 28mph, so I never have to worry about running out of assist."

Specialized Globe Haul ST
"The Globe Haul ST is a joy to pedal around. The small chunky wheels give it a very unique feel and riding experience and the cargo capabilities are staggering. I’ve been on class III bikes before, but the aftermarket addition of a genuine Specialized throttle on this bike has made all the difference on days when my energy is low or I want to keep some ATP reserves for a regular bike ride after my commute. It’s very nice to see something geared towards utility, speed, and comfort from a trusted brand like Specialized. I can’t wait to get more saddle time in on this bike and push the limits of what you can do with two wheels and some imagination."
Favorite places to ride: Anywhere within range of this little path monster.

Serial 1 Rush/Cty Speed
"A night out on the town calls for a sporty ride, and in my case, that’s the Serial 1. The Serial 1 City Speed is the Porche to my Xtracycle’s minivan. The sporty geometry and zippy drivetrain make getting to and from the party (or concert, or restaurant) as much fun as the event itself."

XtraCycle Edgerunner 10E (now Swoop)
"I started commuting via eCargo bike when we moved to Austin 5 years ago with my husband and two daughters. I tried a number of models–including the Urban Arrow and the Tern GSD–but fell head over heels for the XtraCycle Edgerunner 10E.
Despite its length, the XtraCycle Edgerunner rides like any other bike. The motor (and the magic of evaporative cooling) ensure I can ride two big kids comfortably year-round, even in the extreme Texas heat and humidity. The XtraCycles replaced the car for most of my daily trips to work, school pickup, and the soccer fields."
