Adam Vadeboncoeur
I've spent my life living in cycling hubs. Born and raised in Madison, WI. I initially moved to CO in 2016, the Salt Lake City, Bentonville, then back to Boulder (where I am now). I've been riding since 2009 with varying chapters focused on Road, Tri, MTB, & Gravel. Lately, it's been a mix of everything, with a slight obsession of seeing what I can convince my hardtail to do.

MTB: Hardtail
What I Ride: Trek Procaliber
Size: Large
Weight: 24lbs
Handlebar width: 760mm
Personal upgrades: Fox Factory 34 120mm fork, Fox Transfer dopper post, full Shimano XT 12spd drivetrain/brakes, DT Swiss 350 hubs, oval chainring.
I bought this a year ago and surprised myself with how much I'm enjoying it. Its talents span from feeling like a super-gravel bike to conquering impressively technical trails. It's been a fun challenge being more selective in line choices and experiencing local trails in a different way. -
What I Ride: Santa Cruz Stigmata
Size: 56cm
Weight: 18lbs
Handlebar width: 40mm
Personal upgrades: Two wheelsets: DT Swiss 1600 setup with 38mm slicks and Reynolds ATR's with 42mm gravel tires.
I bought this bike in 2023 and have been struggling to find a reason to swap it out. For a do-it-all drop bar bike it feels like a great balance of controlled and capable on gravel, but fast and responsive on road rides. -
MTB: Full Suspension
What I Ride: Evil Following
Size: Large
Weight: 31lbs
Handlebar width: 800mm
Personal upgrades: None. Honestly, this bike was spec'd incredibly well with I9 wheels, RockShox Ultimate, and GX mech.
Both my Evil Following and Santa Cruz Stigmata have left me in a strange, unique place of not wanting to part ways. I've had my Evil since 2021 and have loved every ride on it from rocky Moab trails to flowy single track at Betasso. It pedals well and is impressively capable for a 120/130 bike. Always keep in mind that suspension numbers aren't everything.
