Ultra Fast for Ultra Gravel
Why We Love It
The Exploro Ultra tips the scale a bit towards the adventure enthusiast. While race and aero DNA still courses through its veins, 3T designed the Ultra to hit peak aerodynamics with a 43mm or wider tire. This is accomplished by a wider downtube near the front tire to help channel airflow.
Additionally, with the adventurer in mind, 3T designed the Exploro Ultra with a round 27.2mm seatpost (instead of the traditional aero post on the Exploro) to allow a dropper post if desired.
Who is the 3T Exploro Ultra for? We'd say it's optimized for anyone wanting a really fast gravel bike for really technical gravel. If you don't think you'll ever put more than 40mm tires and don't care about dropper posts on gravel, other Exploro models may be more your jam. If you want to take on any gravel that comes your way - the Ultra is the way.
