Why We Love It
The TR-1100 is the endurance roadie in the Kestrel family. For this model, Kestrel uses their premium KSL Superlight Carbon, which is created by using polyurethane molds that optimize compaction. What does that mean for you? A carbon frame with with all the void space and unnecessary resins squeezed out from between the carbon layers, providing an extremely light and stiff frame delivering your hard earned watts directly where they need to go. In addition to the more upright endurance geometry, uniquely shaped seat stays serve up harsh road damping compliance. Kestrel didn't want to leave anyone out (how nice of them), so they also ensured there's plenty of aerodynamic tube shapes to make this lightweight, comfortable machine cheat the wind.
