Fox Racing has finally entered the shoe game with its new Union mountain bike shoes. To compete with the best in the business, the Union was developed and tested by the Santa Cruz Syndicate. It's gotten the seal of approval from legends like Greg Minnaar, Laurie Greenland, Nina Hoffman, Jackson Goldstone, and Steve Peat, and it's already nabbed some World Cup podiums too, so it’s definitely ready to help you tame your local trails.

The new Union is available in 3 models — Union, Union BOA, and Union flat — to suit different riders and pedal preferences. The Union Boa is available in Black or Red and the Union Flat in Grey, Black, or Mocha. We'll explain the differences so you can pick the best shoe for you.

Fox Racing Union MTB Shoes

[product-block handle="fox-racing-union-shoes-grey"/]

Features:

  • One-piece welded and seamless upper
  • Standard laces with power strap
  • Molded Toe Cap to protect against rock strikes
  • High and low arch support options
  • Molded internal stiffening plate
  • Ultratac™ rubber compound
  • 2-bolt cleat system

The clipless Union shoe is built with a one-piece welded and seamless upper that is lightweight and weather resistant. Old-school laces provide a secure fit with a velcro power strap to lock them in. The footbed is customizable with high and low arch support options and an internal stiffening plate creates an efficient pedaling platform while still having enough flexibility for hike-a-bike sections. If you do need to unclip, the new Ultratac rubber will provide plenty of grip.

Fox Racing Union BOA MTB Shoes

[product-block handle="fox-racing-union-boa-shoes-black"/]

  • One-piece welded seamless upper
  • Dual BOA® Li2 system
  • Molded Toe Cap to protect against rock strikes
  • High and low arch support options
  • Molded internal stiffening plate
  • Ultratac™ rubber compound
  • 2-bolt cleat system

The Union Boa has all the same great features as the standard Union, but it trades laces for the latest BOA Li2 system. The dual BOA Li2 dials create a precise and secure fit at the fore and aft of the shoe and provide on-the-move micro-adjustability. The Union BOA is a high-tech option for trail and enduro riders who want a shoe that is quick to get on and off, easy to adjust while riding, but will also stay secure in the roughest terrain.

Fox Racing Union Flat MTB Shoes

[product-block handle="fox-racing-union-flat-shoes-grey"/]

  • One-piece welded seamless upper
  • Low-friction eyelets
  • Molded Toe Cap to protect against rock strikes
  • Low profile custom-tuned EVA midsole
  • Molded internal stiffening plate
  • Ultratac™ rubber compound

The cornerstone of any flat pedal shoe is the rubber and Fox created its proprietary Ultratac rubber compound to provide best-in-class grip and durability. A carefully engineered tread pattern and a low profile custom-tuned EVA midsole improve pedal feel while a molded internal stiffening plate optimizes power transfer on the bike and comfort off the bike. The Union Flat is available in a standard lace-up version that uses low-friction eyelets to prevent binding so you always get the perfect fit.
