One of the best parts about working at TPC is the constant influx of bikes and gear. Every day, there’s something new, unique, and exciting to check out. This month, we added bikes and frames (and pedals) from Look, TIME, and Argon 18, components from one of my favorites, Easton

With the arrival of summer and plenty of warm days for long rides, I’ve been window shopping for new bikes, frames, and parts to fuel my growing stoke. Next month, you may see me on a nice French (or French-Canadian) frame with some classic Easton components. Here are some of the Look, Time, Argon 18, and Easton road and gravel products I’m frothing over this month.

Look 795 Blade Disc Aero Road Bike

Look 795 Blade

Did you know Look made the first carbon bike to win the Tour de France? Since then, it has remained at the forefront of carbon frame manufacturing and design. With the Blade, you get an aero frame with deep, sculpted tubes that have been developed in the wind tunnel, just like every other aero race bike. But this curvy French beauty is sure to stand out from the endless sea of Specialized, Trek, and Cervelo bikes you’ll see on every group ride.

Argon 18 Gallium Disc Road Bike

Argon 18 Gallium

The Gallium CS takes all the engineering knowledge Argon 18 acquired developing its WorldTour-level Gallium Pro, and puts it in a more accessible package for the everyday rider. This lightweight carbon all-rounder is perfect for everything from long training days to high-speed race finishes. With a mechanical SRAM Force groupset keeps things super light, super simple, and super affordable for riders who don’t want the added fuss of an electronic drivetrain.

If you’re looking for a more race-ready high-end build, then check out the Gallium Pro. It comes with SRAM Red AXS and ENVE Foundation 45 carbon wheels which shed over a pound of weight.

TIME ADHX Gravel Bike Frameset

Time ADHX

[product-block handle="time-adhx-frameset-forest"/]

TIME’s ADHX (Alpe d’Huez X) all-road/gravel bike is the first to incorporate Bio-Based Dyneema, which is 15x stronger than steel, as well as braided carbon structure (BCS) manufacturing. This outperforms traditional carbon prepreg construction in almost every way by incorporating several types of fiber into each multidirectional braid. This means the ADHX is the ultimate balance of weight, durability, and comfort for racers and adventurers. This Forest Green colorway is may favorite, but there are three more to choose from.

Easton EC90 SL Carbon Crank Arms

[product-block handle="7487416664256-easton-ec90-sl-carbon-crank-arms"/]

At just over 350 grams, Easton’s EC90 SL cranks are one of the lightest on the market. They are compatible with 1x and 2x direct-mount Cinch chainrings, use 30mm spindles, and if you ask me, they look pretty darn good. In fact, I like them so much, I’ve run a couple sets on both my personal road and gravel bikes

Easton EA90 Alloy Stem

[product-block handle="7487416500416-easton-ea90-alloy-stem-31-8mm-clamp"/]

The EA90 is my go-to stem. Take a look at any of the road or gravel bikes I’ve owned in the last 4 years, you’ll see they ALL have Easton EC90 stems. They’re super light and super stiff, and I like that they have a sleek integrated Garmin mount. Also, the top-lock faceplate is brilliant, and makes it super easy to ensure your faceplate bolts are properly torqued.

Easton EC90 AX Handlebars

[product-block handle="7314427216064-easton-ec90-ax-handlebar-31-8mm-clamp-carbon-black-di2-internal-routing"/]

The Easton EC90 AX handlebars are the bars I trust for tough gravel events like Unbound Gravel. It absorbs a lot of vibration to keep you comfy, and the drops have the ideal amount of flare to handle the roughest terrain.

Easton EC90 Aero55 Carbon Tubeless Wheels

[product-block handle="easton-ec90-aero55-carbon-tubeless-front-wheel-disc-f-12x100-am-20"/]

[product-block handle="easton-ec90-aero55-carbon-tubeless-rear-wheel-700-12-x-142mm-center-lock-hg-11-black-1"/]

I’ve had a great experience with Easton’s carbon gravel wheels (I’m running EC70 AX wheels). The rims have a great profile and low weight, the Vault hubs have excellent engagement, and you get an awesome warranty (they fixed a broken rim for me in less than a week) all at a pretty competitive price. The Aero55 is the wheelset I’m eyeing for my road bike to take on some crit racing this summer.

Time Xpresso 7 Pedals

[product-block handle="7163926118592-time-xpresso-7-pedals-clipless-black"/]

Other than Speedplay pedals, Time Xpresso pedals with their super easy entry/exit and high float are the most comfortable pedals for my bum knee. The iClic pre-open clipless system makes it so easy to get into the pedal, I actually like recommending them to clipless pedal newbies. I also like that it’s easy to increase the q-factor simply by swapping the cleats around (they’re left/right specific) which also helps alleviate some of my knee pain.
