Built For Versatility and Adventure

Why We Love It
Chapter2 bikes are all engineered by Mike Pryde. If that sounds familiar, you may be thinking of a slightly older brand named NeilPryde. Well, you're not far off. Mike is Neil's son and they teamed up in 2017 to bring you incredible craftsmanship out of New Zealand under the Chapter2 brand. The AO is Chapter2's gravel bike, but is designed with versatility and adventure in mind. With 700 x 42mm (650 x 47mm) tire clearance, 5 water bottle mounts, dropper post capability and fender mounts, this bike is ready to take on adventure. The frame is designed using a combination of high performing Toray T700, T800, and 3k directional carbon to ensure the frame is strong in the areas that need it, but light in areas subjected to less stress. For additional adjustability, the rear dropouts can be flipped around to change your effective chainstay length by 15mm to cater to your maneuverability/stability preference.
Features
  • Named after the Maori word for ""Earth""
  • 15mm rear dropout adjustment
  • High performance carbon
  • Space for 5 water bottle mounts
Master Mechanic’s Notes
  • New handlebar tape & FSA chain
  • Light scratches on the shifters
  • Light scratches on the top tube, down tube, seatstays, & drive side chainstay
  • Moderate scratches on the rear derailleur
  • This crankset has been inspected per Shimano's recall guidelines & is not on the recall list
