What We Ride: Sean's Concorde AstoreWelcome to the fourth chapter in our "What We Ride" series; a series featuring our employee's bikes and the story behind them. This post introduces you to TPC's friendly front desk personality, Sean Sullivan and his vintage Concorde Astore. What We Ride: Sean's Concorde Astore

Name: Sean "Sully" Sullivan

Position at TPC: Buyer

What your ride: '93 Concorde Astore

Why you ride it: I had a Concorde in the 90's as a teenager and my favorite pro team at the time (PDM) also raced Concordes. It was the first bike that I took to Europe to race when I was 17, and I won a national championship with it. That frame is still in my parents garage back home in Tasmania, so I built this one as an homage to that bike.

Fun facts: Some of the parts are from a Campagnolo Chorus groupset that I saved up and bought from race winnings in 1994... well actually only the seat post so it's a kind of a grandfather's axe restoration! I have ridden this bike up Flagstaff once, it's 24lbs so it goes down better than it goes up!
