Sklar wanted to design a bike that you instinctively grabbed regardless of the trail you were headed to. The Sweet Spot isn't a cross country racer that blasts the double track, but makes you nervous when you discover steep, rocky sections. It's also not a mega-slacked out, huge travel full, suspension rig that bulldozes down double-black diamond descents, but is a dog to get back up. Instead, it finds a beautiful middle ground that moves efficiently and confidently along whatever trails you encounter. It also makes for an incredible bikepacking vessel, whether you're headed out for a one-nighter camping trip or a multi-week excursion, the tough steel frame lends itself to be loaded up with as much gear as you need and deliver day after day smooth riding reliability.
