Why We Love It
This slightly older version of the Alchemy Arktos doesn't feature quite the "modulation" as the more current version, however, if you aren't the type of rider that wants to swap a shock and a fork when you're riding different types of trails then this generation of the Arktos will still bring all the heat! The 140mm of rear travel is plenty for the majority of technical terrain and not too much to make the bike pedal sluggish. The carbon frame is impressively lightweight and keeps complete builds weights in the very low 30's, which is impressive for this much travel. This bike probably won't be winning XC races and probably shouldn't be taken to Rampage, but can take on pretty much everything between with confidence.
